A warm welcome always awaits you in the SPEY BAR. Where there are no strangers - only friends who have never met. Our cosy bar is comfortably furnished and boasts a well-stocked gantry, specialising in Malt Whiskies, some of which are uncommon even in the Highlands. Here you can relax with a dram, glass of wine or a beer among friends after a day's walking, touring or golf.

The Spey Bar, one of Kingussie's favourite meeting-places, sets the tone of informal comfort for locals and visitors. Convivial company in very pleasant surroundings, fine beers and wines - and of course the vast array of Malt Whiskies all add to the enjoyment of the moment. Now, with bright new wallcoverings, tartan window drapes, a custom-woven carpet, wrought light fittings and an impressive collection of pictures and ornaments, the bar introduces a hunting, shooting, fishing theme to the Scot House Hotel.

The Bar is also popular for informal bar-Lunches and suppers.
