The Scot House Hotel is ideally situated in Kingussie, which lies the midst of the outstanding natural beauty of the Spey Valley, in the heart of Cairngorm National Park. Nearby, shimmering lochs are fringed by sandy beaches, and sparkling rivers lie in the shadows of heather-covered mountains. A kaleidoscope of colour, changing spectacularly with the seasons, awaits our visitors. Kingussie was by-passed by the improvements to the Great North Road many years ago. The relative hustle and bustle of a bygone era has been replaced with a charming little Highland town, full of character and unique personality.

The local area abounds with wild life, notably reindeers, badgers, ospreys and eagles as well as offering a fascinating glimpse of cultural and natural history. A mecca for outdoor enthusiasts, country and mountain sportsmen and women, it is also a wonderful ‘traveller’s rest’ for the weary business traveler.
